Doings

Diagnosed with advanced stage cancer at just six months of age, Jen Peer Rich began a fraught journey of transformation long before she was old enough to comprehend its significance. She would go on to survive trauma, institutionalization, and addiction, before transcending these obstacles through education, the loving support of her family and healing in nature. Despite chronic health issues, Jen now lives a dynamic, purposeful life as a disabled scholar, advocate, author, and speaker committed to studying our deepest inner landscapes and their constant evolution.

Jen is an interfaith minister with the Alliance of Divine Love for over 20 years, has a BS from Athens State University, a master’s degree in Transpersonal Ecopsychology from Naropa University and completed doctoral studies for a PhD at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her research focuses on autoethnography, cultivating self-awareness and ecological healing. She lives in Orlando, Florida, with her beloved wife Iris and daughter Frannie, in a house-turned-art studio by the lake filled with books and light, wagging tails, and good cooking.

Jen’s third book and debut memoir is described as an intimate exploration of intergenerational transformation, the first in a trilogy of forthcoming memoirs. She is the co-host of Radical Emergence Podcast and host of Drawn to Heal podcast.
