I received a BA from Athens State University, and an MA in Transpersonal Psychology, Ecopsychology from Naropa University. I completed doctoral studies at California Institute of Integral Studies, defending my dissertation: A Metamodern Autoethnographic Journey of Healing From Childhood Cancer and Adverse Childhood Experiences Through Reinhabiting Self and Ecological Consciousness. I am the author of three books, So Be It (2012), Friends In Presence (2013) and forthcoming, The Alchemy of Being a House: A Memoir of Intergenerational Transformation (TBA). I reside in Atlanta, Georgia with my wife, Iris, and our daughter, Frannie.
